Remedial Massage in Mentone
Remedial massage is a targeted, hands-on therapy used to treat muscular pain, tension, and restricted movement. At Pure Chiropractic in Mentone, our remedial massage services work alongside our chiropractic care to help you recover from injury, ease chronic tightness, and move more freely.
Whether you’re dealing with a specific injury, the effects of desk work, sporting strain, or simply carrying tension you can’t shake, remedial massage addresses the root of the problem rather than just the symptoms.
The Techniques We Offer
Every treatment is tailored to your individual needs. Depending on what your body requires, your session may draw on:
Remedial Massage — targeted treatment of specific muscular problems and injuries.
Deep Tissue Massage — firm pressure to release deeper layers of muscle and chronic tension.
Sports Massage — supporting performance, recovery, and injury prevention for active people.
Trigger Point Therapy — releasing tight “knots” that refer pain to other areas of the body.
Myofascial Release — easing restriction in the connective tissue surrounding your muscles.
Lymphatic Drainage — gentle techniques to support circulation and reduce fluid retention.
Cupping — using suction to increase blood flow and release tension.
Dry Needling — fine needles (with TENS electrostimulation) to release trigger points and relieve pain.

Trent Hamdjah
Remedial Massage Therapist
Trent is passionate about helping people move better, recover well, and return to doing what they love, combining evidence-informed hands-on therapy with a commitment to whole-person wellbeing.
With 20 years of experience across multidisciplinary clinics, rehabilitation settings, and elite sporting environments, he tailors every treatment individually — drawing on remedial massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, advanced dry needling with TENs electrostimulation, cupping, lymphatic techniques, mobility coaching, and practical self-care strategies.
Following severe spinal injuries from motor vehicle accidents and professional burnout, Trent stepped away from practice to focus on his own recovery. Years of rehabilitation gave him a deep appreciation for patience, resilience, and treating the whole person, not simply the symptoms — recognising that physical pain, stress, emotional wellbeing, and lifestyle are often interconnected. Alongside manual therapy he may incorporate breath awareness, mindfulness, and relaxation-based approaches to support nervous system regulation.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys mindful forest and ocean bathing, Qigong, lifelong learning, and ancient wisdom traditions, and is inspired daily by his two rescue Mini Fox Terriers, Gruffie and Pixie.
“My goal isn’t simply to help you recover from pain. It’s to help you move with confidence, build resilience, and rediscover your capacity to live well.”
